DSi: Should You Buy It?

IGN had a great article on the Nintendo DSi, weighing both the pros and cons of the new handheld system by Nintendo. There are a few new juicy details about the system, well, one. It's official release will now be on April 5th, 2009 in the USA! If you've ordered it from Japan already, good for you, but for the rest of us we'll wait impatiently. Make sure you find your DSi in stock by using our DSi tracker service.

The DSi will cost $169.99. Not too bad all in all, and certainly, IMHO, worth the upgrade. Above is a sneak peek of the corner of it.

You can change in and out cartridges without losing any info or crashing your handheld, its got a camera, music playback, recording software, space to add memory, slightly bigger screen, what other reasons do you need? According to one Nintendo exec, the lame buttons (squishy feeling) from the DS lite are gone, and the DSi has clicky buttons that you can actually tell when you pushed them.

I'm getting one, how about you?
